Nurete’s research interests include inter-faith and inter-ethnic dialogue, management education for Millennials and the intersection of business and peace. Dr. Brenner has taught courses in Macroeconomics, Organizational Behavior, Leadership and International Business at CWRU and at the Herzliyya Interdisciplinary Center in Israel and has facilitated Arab-Jewish dialogue groups at the Center for Educational Technology in Tel Aviv. She is passionate about graduating thoughtful business leaders who understand holistically how business and society interconnect and that the needs of the community, the environment and future generations must be taken into account when engaging in business.

Dr. Debra L. Fleming is Professor of Accounting and Management at Ursuline College. During her tenure at Ursuline, she has served as Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies, Director of the MBA Program and Executive Director of Business Programs. She currently serves as the Director of the new Center of Excellence in Ethical and Entrepreneurial Leadership. Dr. Fleming earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University; a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University; and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1987.

Dr. Fleming has twenty-eight years of teaching experience, fourteen years of service in upper level administration positions and ten years of experience as a national consultant on technology. Prior to her faculty and administrative appointments in higher education, she served as a Chief Financial Officer for a manufacturing company. She also owned and operated several businesses, one of which was a financial consulting business to assist small business owners with the integration of technology to support financial management and accounting processes.

Keith Fricke, M.B.A

Keith Fricke has worked in Information Technology for 31 years, the last 17 of which focused on Information Security. His career includes a number of technical positions in IT and leadership positions in information security. For seven years, he managed security for The Cleveland Clinic’s community hospitals. He was Chief Information Security Officer for five and a-half years at Mercy Health of Ohio. Since May 2015, he has been a Principal Consultant at tw-Security, a firm focused on domestic healthcare information security. He frequently speaks at national, state, and local security events. He has been a member of the Cleveland InfraGard chapter since 2003 and on the Board since 2008. He has been CISSP certified since 2002, earned his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College and his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University’s Fenn College of Engineering. He has been an adjunct professor at Ursuline College since 2006 where he taught undergrad MIS courses and teaches project management courses in their graduate MBA program.

Laura Hammel, Ph.D, A.P.R., is Director and Associate Professor of the Public Relations and Marketing Communications degree program. For 26 years, she worked in nonprofit and corporate marketing, public relations, development and communications positions at major arts and nonprofit organizations, the utility and banking industries, in healthcare and in higher education in northeast Ohio. A 2013 recipient of the Davis Young Award for Excellence in Mentoring from the Public Relations Society of America, Dr. Hammel’s area of research interests are the impact of electronic media on relationally aggressive behaviors of adolescent girls and moral reasoning in decision making in business students and professionals. Her published work can be found in a variety of educational and professional journals.
