The world is vastly changing, and it needs leaders like you to make it a better place.
Building on our heritage of a holistic approach and values-based education in the Catholic tradition, our MBA Program prepares tomorrow’s leaders for the challenges and opportunities of the marketplace and emerging global economy. Working with our world-class faculty, students gain a strong sense of corporate citizenship, ethical decision-making, and a global understanding of business’ role in shaping society. This preparation is accomplished through educational experiences emphasizing communication skills, independent thinking, creative problem solving, and professional integrity.
A Socially-Conscious Approach to Learning
We are a Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) school that has joined the UN Global Impact, a group of schools from around the world who have formed a web community focused on important business issues. We promote these six principles.
We will develop the capabilities of students to be future generators of sustainable value for business and society at large and to work for an inclusive and sustainable global economy.
We will incorporate into our academic activities and curricula the values of global social responsibility as portrayed in international initiatives such as the United Nations Global Compact.
We will create educational frameworks, materials, processes and environments that enable effective learning experiences for responsible leadership.
We will engage in conceptual and empirical research that advances our understanding about the role, dynamics, and impact of corporations in the creation of sustainable social, environmental and economic value.
We will interact with managers of business corporations to extend our knowledge of their challenges in meeting social and environmental responsibilities and to explore jointly effective approaches to meeting these challenges.
We will facilitate and support dialogue and debate among educators, students, business, government, consumers, media, civil society organizations and other interested groups and stakeholders on critical issues related to global social responsibility and sustainability.
Our holistic approach to MBA education provides each student with three personal career-coaching sessions throughout the program with a faculty member and advisor. The first session occurs in the beginning of the program, the second half-way through and the third close to graduation.
These sessions focus on your career goals, on determining your purpose, your passions, your curiosity and your individual future intentions, not just in your career but in your life.
Flexibility To Meet Your Needs
Have a full-time job? No problem. Most of our students are full-time employees. Our goal is to provide MBA students with part-time and full-time options towards program completion. You can complete the MBA in three to six semesters. The evening MBA is designed for the convenience and flexibility of working professionals. Each course is delivered in eight-week sessions and courses take place one evening per week.
We are confident that your experience at Ursuline College will be both fulfilling and challenging. We welcome the opportunity to support you on your journey to achieve your professional career aspirations and your personal educational goals!
The MBA Program is approved by the Ohio Board of Regents and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
